Terroir

With wine growing regions spanning the latitudes of 36 to 45 degrees and covering the length of 1,600km, New Zealand is blessed with a vast range of climates and soil types. The northern hemisphere equivalent would run from Bordeaux down to southern Spain. This means that we have the ideal conditions for growing a range of different varieties and producing a diverse array of styles.

The location of our individual vineyard sites within each region have each been chosen for their special terroir—one that holds the promise of quality wines that will surprise and intrigue.
