A breath of fresh air and our secluded and picturesque setting makes Matakana Estate a unique venue for team building and corporate conferences. WEDDINGS AND SPECIAL OCCASIONS
We have designed a wedding package that allows for maximum creativity and flexibility. It includes venue hire of our enchanted forest for your ceremony and lawn area for marquee reception. We also take care of accommodation for the couple and their special guests with our lodge accommodation. A beverage package will be provided to make sure none of your guests get thirsty.

Winery & Lodge Lawn
Spacious, surrounded by nature and fits hundreds of guests. Our various Lawn areas are the perfect marquee event space and can accommodate large group sizes. Surrounded by vines and trees, our lawn areas provide a natural backdrop of hills and views of the Matakana Valley. We are connected with a number of local supplier partners and happy to help you organise your ideal event.
The Enchanted Forest
A charming and magical medium-sized event space. perfect for intimate weddings and cocktail receptions. The Enchanted Forest provides a beautiful ambience to your event and offers the perfect vantage point to watch the sunset over our vineyards. A great feature is the accompanying outdoor garden bar which can be used to serve drinks and finger food. At night, a canopy of lights will add a touch of magic to end your special day.
